NARENDER MODIJI.......A SUCCESS CONFRENCE IN TRICHY......>

Addressing the BJP Youth Conference in Trichy, Shri Narendra Modi attacked the economic and foreign policy of the UPA, saying that it has failed to enhance India’s prestige at the world level and failed in giving opportunities to the youth. “Man Se, Vachan Se, Karm Se, Congress divisive hai” (From their minds, in their speech and in their work the Congress is divisive) Shri Modi affirmed, adding that being divisive was in the DNA of the Congress. He shared that from administration, water sharing between states, language, communities, caste groups, even villages and cities, the Congress has always divided. Mincing no words Shri Modi affirmed, “We have to save this nation and if we want to take it ahead we need Mukti from this divisive Congress.” He called for the fulfilling of Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of dismantling the Congress and added that the same must happen to all those associated with it.

Referring to the poor policies of the Congress, Shri Modi noted that 20,000 MW power capacity has not been used only because of lack of coal and gas. “The only want to do things where there is corruption. Things of public welfare do not interest them,” he avowed.
Narendra Modi ji strongly rebuked the Centre over the recent judgment by the Honourable Supreme Court on the Aadhaar Scheme. Shri Modi said that the nation wants to know how much money was spent on Aadhaar, who gained from it and sought answers from the Government on the issues raised by the Supreme Court. He himself shared that for the past three years he raised issues about Aadhaar to the Prime Minster but these issues were not addressed. Elaborating, he said, “I said that Gujarat is a border state and if you keep giving out Aadhaar cards like this then illegal immigrants will take advantage. I said a National Security Council meet must be called and Chief Ministers must be consulted but nothing of that sort happened.” Furthermore, Shri Modi wanted to know if all Ministers of the Cabinet, all departments were on board for going ahead with this project.

Attacking the Central Government for weakening the economy, Shri Modi opined that due to the policies of the Centre, industries are shutting down and small businessmen are facing troubles at the hands of the Government. He pointed that the youth must be at the centre of any roadmap for development and that their talent must be able to serve the nation. He even called for the strengthening of crores of small-scale industries that would give jobs to the youth. Shri Modi stated how experts are predicting massive unemployment if things go on like tis for the next five years.
Shri Modi even took on the UPA for their failures in their foreign policy. He wanted to know why has the Centre allowed the soldiers of the nation to be killed by terror, why does it allow neighbouring countries to take our fishermen or allow Italians to kill fishermen? “Every citizen asks why we are so weak that our neighbours can do what they want and we keep our eyes shut and our mouths locked?” questioned Shri Modi.
Modi ji questioned the people at the public meeting if the PM should hurry towards meeting Pakistan when our soldiers are killed, innocent people are killed and terror troubles the people. When the audience responded with a thunderous NO, Shri Modi affirmed, “Pradhan Mantri ji, this is not me or the BJP speaking. It is the people of Trichy, the youth of Trichy telling you this.” He told the Prime Minister, “Pradhan Mantri ji, you are in USA, the nation wants to know is the nation’s pride more important or to look nice & hurry to talk is your priority.”

At the start of his speech Shri Modi talked abut the close bond between Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. He lauded the state of Tamil Nadu for their progress in industry and added that the Tamil people are hardworking, sincere and above all loyal. He pointed that the Tamil language is one of the oldest languages and that he is very fond of knowing about Sangam literature. “Due to the hardwork and dedication of the people, Tamil Nadu is one of the most advanced states of the nation,” pointed Shri Modi.
Shri Modi said that Mahatma Gandhi was from Gujarat while his conscience keeper C Rajagopalachari was from Tamil Nadu. He also mentioned the large number of Tamil people on Maninagar, who supported him in the elections.
BJP President Shri Rajnath Singh delivered a strong speech in which he spoke about the misgovernance of the UPA and its failure to control prices. He urged the youngsters to register themselves as voters. Talking about the good work during the NDA, he pointed that the NDA kept prices under check while the same has not happened under the UPA.

NARENDER MODIJI... HIS ADDRESS TO INDIANS IN USA VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE,A SUCCESS.GREAT

Sunday 22nd September 2013 Shri Narendra Modi addressed the Indian diaspora during the Annual National Convention of the USA Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) via videoconference. Shri Narendra Modi called for the uprooting of the Central Government and called for working towards a progressive BJP Government in 2014. He affirmed that these elections are not about any person or post but they are about dreams of the people, to wipe the tears of the poor and to work for the welfare of our farmers, the marginalized and tribal communities. Shri Modi also added that while individuals come and go, it is the Nation that is eternal and said that everybody must work for the nation.

Shri Narendra Modi began his speech by unequivocally condemning the unfortunate attack at a mall in Nairobi where several people including Indians lost their lives. He said that there is no question of having different yardsticks in the case of terrorism and said that it is wrong for some nations to be selective on this. Shri Modi called for spreading Mahatma Gandhi’s message of peace and humanity and he expressed confidence that the Kenyan Government will uproot the elements who committed this crime.

Referring to the Lok Sabha Elections of 2014 Shri Modi said, “2014 is not being fought by any leader or any party but it is being fought by the people for their rights and dreams. All this debate surrounding ‘he is fighting’ ‘he is fighting’ is wrong! This election will be about the manifesto of the people who want peace and prosperity not the manifesto of parties.” Drawing a comparison to the historic elections of 1977 Shri Modi avowed, “ The elections after the Emergency were not fought by leaders of parties. Neither did papers ad pundits influence them. It was the people’s voice. Like 1977, 2014 will be the voice of the people.”

Shri Modi stated on a day like this, it is natural to remember the NDA Government under Atal ji and Advani ji, under whose tenure the growth rate was high, prices were low, there was friendship with neighbours and a trust was created among the people. He added that it was during the NDA era that the world saw India as a nation who would scale new heights during the 21st century but that dream was shattered after the NDA lost office. Shri Modi pointed that in the last nine years the nation has moved backwards, which makes it natural for any citizen to feel concerned.

Lauding the Karyakartas of the BJP, Shri Modi said that it is the Karyakartas who is the strength of the BJP due to which the Party got a chance to serve the people in a very short time since its formation. He stated, “Parties took decades to win power but BJP got the opportunity to serve the people in years of its formation. To win the trust of the people is not a small thing and the BJP won the people’s trust due to their Karyakartas. The nation did not know how we would work but they knew that our Karyakartas will serve.” He expressed confidence that if there is one party that can rid India of all its current problems it is the BJP.

He also lauded the contribution of the BJP Karyakartas in the various states the BJP got to serve. Shri Modi affirmed, “If NDA had failed under Atal ji and Advani ji who would have remembered it? If Sunderlal Patwa ji or Shivraj ji would have failed in Madhya Pradesh who would have remembered BJP? Dr. Raman Singh ji in Chhattisgarh, Bhairon Singh ji Shekhawat, Vasundhara ji…they won the trust of the people.” Likewise, he said that the people remember the good work of the BJP Governments in Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Bihar even today. This is because the BJP Karyakartas have the aspiration of the people in their hearts, Shri Modi opined. Modi ji affirmed that from Communist Government to the Congress to dynastic parties the nation has seen all types of Governments in the last 60 years but it is the NDA Governments that have created trust in the minds of the people.

Shri Modi stressed on the need of not wasting time on mindless criticism but going among the people and talking about the good work done by the NDA Government. Comparing the NDA with the UPA he pointed, “Every Government must tell the people what they have done for it. Shivraj ji is going to the villages telling people. Dr. Raman Singh ji is covering the length and breadth of Chhattisgarh but see the arrogance of the Government in Delhi. They are in power for nine years but is even one leader of theirs ready to tell the people what they have done?” He also said, “As soon as I will finish my speech they will start, Modi said this, this is what is happening in Gujarat but, Modi has given answers to the people in December 2012 and the people chose the BJP to serve them.”

During his speech, Shri Modi also attacked the vested interest groups that have spread canards and protected all the wrongs of the Congress. He pointed, “Right now there was a terrible calamity in Uttarakhand. People from all states lost their lives. The same happened during the Gujarat Earthquake but did you see the coverage of the two instances then and now? This is because there is a vested interest group that is a Raksha Kavach for the Congress. This vested interest group is active and come 2014 we have to fight both the Congress and this vested interest group. The fight is no doubt big but the dreams of our people are bigger.”

Modi ji gave a clarion call to the people to use the http://www.india272.com platform as the 2014 elections approach. He shared that very often people come to him asking for opportunities to work and that this is the platform to work and contribute. He added that one does not need to go to leaders or wait for anything else but they need to start working on India272 platform.

Shri Modi also spoke about the importance of voter registration among members of the diaspora. He shared that during the Gujarat Elections there were only two external electors, which was not a good thing. He urged all NRIs who retain their Indian passports to register as voters and added that information surrounding this could also be obtained on the India272 platform. He said that a youngster should remember the time he became an eligible voter just like the first day at school or a college graduation.

A large number of NRIs had gathered to hear Shri Modi speak. Despite being early in the morning in India, enthusiastic netizens were there in large numbers to listen to Shri Modi’s inspiring address.

Shri Modi pointed that the inner democracy is the true strength of the BJP and that the party hears the voice of the countless small Karyakartas. The fact that an ordinary Karyakarta like him got so much respect and love in the BJP shows the true character and value systems of the Party. He declared that Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Shri Lal Krishna Advani created a banyan tree and that it is now on the leaders and Karyakartas to expand it with their hardwork and sweat. Shri Modi stressed on the need to take India to new heights of progress and remove it from the mess that it is currently in. NARENDER MODIJI SPEAKING ON .QUALITATIVE IMPROVEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Narendra Modi today called for synergy between the storehouses of knowledge in the universities with the human resources for nation building.

He recalled that universities at Nalanda, Taxashila and Vallabhi are 1,800 years old. Ironically, theses centres of excellence had maintained their distinction even during the 800 years of invasions in the medieval period, but unfortunately lost the soul and spirit in the post-Independence period.
Mr. Modi was addressing the valedictory function of the Prof Bhikhu Parekh Seminar on ‘Qualitative Improvement in Higher Education’, organized by Gujarat Government’s Higher Education Department, at Mahatma Mandir here.
Seminar on ‘Qualitative Improvement in Higher Education’

He called for the need to free the universities from the burden of administrative rigmarole to let them focus on teaching and research. He listed the areas in which India could excel and bridge the huge gap – notably in defence equipment, shipping and automobile sectors. He said that Gujarat Government has introduced training programmes for skill development, raising the importance of it is in Gujarat.

Mr. Modi drew comparison of today’s seminal seminar to invoke new ideas for higher education in the 21st Century with Swami Vivekanand’s spiritual speech eulogizing India’s spirit of ‘vasudhaiva kutumbakam’ that inspired America this day in the 19th Century – in sharp contrast to the inhuman terror attack that shocked America this day in the 20th Century.
He suggested the universities became self-reliant, shared their knowledge in events like Krishi Mahotsav and Jyotigram projects. He suggested law students take internship while learning and engineering students’ exposure in development projects, he asked. There is need to link the universities to explosion of knowledge around the world.
Lord Bhikhu Parekh welcomed the initiative to improve quality of higher education through at seminars through discussion. He inspired the students to go abroad for higher studies and research, exchange of faculties between Indian and foreign universities.
Others who spoke and attended the one-day seminar included Gujarat’s Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma, Industries Minister Saurabh Patel, Minister of State for Education Vasuben Trivedi, vice-chancellors and registrar of universities, academics and researchers.

MONASTERIES.A HEAVEN ABOVE

The #Greeks called this region "in the heavens above", due to the formation of the rocks that took shape 60 million years ago. These unique monasteries are constructed on pinnacles of rock that were a result of earthquakes and weathering. Excavations all around this region in the caves also discovered radiocarbon which evidences human presence that dates as far as 50,000 years. A truly unique area.

   REALLY A HEAVEN ABOVE.

LAB TO LAND NEW MANTRA FOR AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT BY MODIJI

Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has given “Lab to Land”, a mantra to achieve thorough success in the field of agriculture, connecting its agricultural universities and its knowledge-resources to the farmlands of the state. For this, Mr. Modi has initiated annual programme named Krushi Mahotsava. Gujarat has pioneered the initiative of soil health-card, which enable farmers to go for certain crops after fulfilling the required nutrients in the soil and in turn harvest a bumper crop. All these efforts have made sure that Gujarat’s Agriculture growth remains in double digit to what it was minus two few years down the line. This feat has touched so many across the World and even agriculture expert Dr. Swaminathan has praised this effort of Gujarat. Government of India’s Commission for Agriculture Cost of Production Policy’s president Dr. Ashok Gulati during his one of the meeting with chief minister Mr. Modi had termed Gujarat’s over 10% continuous agriculture growth as quite an exciting phenomena and is inspirational for other states.
Moreover, this concerted efforts involving all from agriculture sector has led to state’s annual agriculture income cross Rs. 1,00,000 crore as compared to Rs. 9,000 crore recorded few years ago. This was achieved because of Gujarat Government’s guidance, modern approach in agricultural techniques and sheer hard work of the farmers. And the figures of growth rate speak about the achievement of last one decade. From 1991, sowing area of 106 lakh hectares and agriculture produce of 108 lakh metric tonnes, which was increased to 1.8 lakh hectares and 155 lakh metric tonnes respectively. Thus the particular decade could see an increase of only 2 lakh hectares in sowing area and increase of 47 lakh metric tonnes in agriculture produce. Because of the visionary leadership of Mr. Modi, state’s agriculture growth has found new direction which ultimately resulted into total sowing area of 145 lakh hectares and agriculture produce become 241 lakh metric tonnes. The good governance by the state government has effected an increase of 37 lakh hectares in sowing area and agriculture produce add another 86 lakh metric tonnes to the total tally.
Agriculture Summit-2013
Gujarat has been a leader in the field of agriculture. It produces 30% of India’s total ground-nut production, 80% of country’s castor and it is no.1 producer of cumin. Around 80% of onion dehydration plants are located in Gujarat. While it contributes 33% of country’s total cotton produce and 50% of India’s cotton exports. Year 2012-13 saw record production of 86 lakh bales of cotton and for last ten years it has been able to grow wheat production by 5 fold. In 2010-11, Gujarat produced total food grain worth 100 lakh metric tonnes and in next year it produced even higher quantity of food grain for which the Central Government conferred Gujarat with “Krishi Karman Commendation Award”. Gujarat has successfully converted over 7 lakh hectares of area for applying modern farming techniques using micro irrigation system.
The upcoming summit is aimed at bringing international standard of farming techniques, technologies, innovations, machineries and the knowledge of the field to the state’s farmers. The summit will take place for two days, September 9-10 this year. On this occasion a mega exhibition is planned where over 200 companies from 15 countries will showcase their expertise and knowledge in different domain of the agriculture sector. Also it will see a Kisan Panchayat being held in presence of Chief Minister Mr. Modi and around 4,000 farmers from the state and about 5,000 farmers from other states are expected to participate in the summit. Apart from sessions and discussions on different subject areas, the summit will host country seminars from Israel, Netherlands and Denmark. Gujarat has taken a lead by this initiative for the all-round agriculture development of the country and as Chief Minister Mr. Modi says that “India First”, this is Gujarat’s yagya- for welfare and service of the countrymen.
VIBRANT GUJRAT,DEVELOPING EVERY ASPECT IN AGRICULTURAL FIELD.
