Tu hai Shakti parmeshwar ki,  Kaato bhav ke bhandan…

Prem kaa deep jalaa ke maiyaa,  Aarti teri utaare

He jag jyoti kasht nivaarini,  Har lena andhiyaari…

Sharan tihaari aaye maiya,  Mangal keerat gaaye

Haath jora ham binti karte,  Charan sheesha jhukaaye…

Explanation: 

We are doing the aarti of Mother Lakshmi. O Mother, fill us with your grace. Save us from the sufferings of the world.  You are the one who grants food and wealth. We survive with Your mercy for indeed You take care of everyone in this world.  Our hearts are filled with devotion for You. Every day we respectfully bow to You. 

You are the power of the Lord.O Mother, free us from the ties of this world.  With the lighted flame of love, we are doing Your aarti. May this bright flame take away our troubles and remove the surrounding darkness.  We are at Your mercy at this holy pilgrimage, repeating this auspicious prayer. With clasp hands and bowed heads we humbly prostrate to Thee.
